SCI Solutions Unveils New Online Order Communications Tool
Order Facilitator® enhances communication between community physicians and hospitals
Los Gatos, Calif. – April 15, 2008 – SCI Solutions, the premiere Access Management solution provider for healthcare, today announced it has released an upgraded version (v4) of its Order Facilitator® online order communications tool. Order Facilitator is SCI's award-winning, Internet-based, web solution for automating orders for hospital services from community physicians. Order Facilitator features a streamlined, 3-step, online workflow for processing physician orders including: Outpatient Order Entry, Integrated Medical Necessity Checking and Electronic Physician Signature, Physician-to-Physician Referrals, FAX Ordering and FAX Indexing.
Order Facilitator resides on a web-based foundation which allows for faster adoption by physician
practices than normally experienced with traditional health information technology. Through the
SaaS delivery model, SCI simultaneously converted its entire Order Facilitator hospitals and
physicians to the new version.
