John Holton, President & Chief Executive Officer
John Holton has provided direction to the organization since its founding in 1999.
Drawing on his significant industry experience, John guides the technical and business innovations
that are proving to shape the future of healthcare from an Access Management perspective.
John has extensive experience in the design, development, sales and support of healthcare information systems. He was co-founder of the Atwork Corporation. Over a 12-year period, he built Atwork into the industry leader in healthcare scheduling and management systems, serving more than 2,000 hospitals in the U.S. and 400 in Europe. Under his direction, Atwork twice made the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies.
Prior to founding Atwork, John was on the administrative staff at Alta Bates Hospital serving the nursing, laboratory and information systems areas. He also was a member of the academic staff at the University of California-Berkeley, where he conducted research on utilization review and quality assurance in healthcare. During that time, John authored eight thought-leadership articles. He holds a bachelors in history and a masters in engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Julie Haas, Senior Vice President of Customer Operations
As senior vice president of customer operations at SCI Solutions, Julie Haas is responsible
for all implementation, interface and customer care activities. Julie has more than 23 years
of experience in the healthcare information technology and customer service fields and is a
recognized leader in client relationship management.
Before joining SCI Solutions, she was vice president of account management for IDX Systems. At IDX Julie was responsible for client services in the western region, Chicago, and Dallas as well as the development of a company-wide account management program. She was an active member of the senior management team and instrumental in the strategic planning process, building a stronger organization.
Prior to IDX, Julie spent 13 years as part of McKesson (formerly HBOC) where she held several successful positions within customer service and sales including implementation, support, project management and account management. Julie graduated magna cum laude from San Francisco State University with a BS in health sciences.
Kristy Roesner, Senior Vice President of Product Development
As senior vice president of product development, Kristy Roesner's extensive background
and experience uniquely qualifies her to lead all aspects of product development including product
management, core product development, integration development, QA and release management.
Prior to joining SCI Solutions, Kristy was vice president of development for Chingari and Agile Software. Kristy played an integral role in developing products that took Agile revenues from $8 million to $25 million in one year and through a proposed merger with Ariba software valued at $2.55 billion.
Before Agile, Kristy's career at Hewlett-Packard culminated as general manager of the Accessory Business Operation managing over a $1 billion business unit for memory, mass storage and hard disk drives. She has extensive experience managing development of leading-edge consumer and enterprise-class software applications that have won numerous industry awards. While at Hewlett-Packard she also held positions successfully managing Product Marketing, Support, Usability and Documentation. She received a bachelors of MIS from California Polytechnic University.
Hans Morefield, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partners
As senior vice president of strategic partners, Hans Morefield applies his more than
20 years of experience in the healthcare industry for the benefit of SCI clients. Hans’ Access
Management expertise enables him to envision and apply technical and process solutions that
provide win-win scenarios for client healthcare organizations nationwide.
Prior to joining SCI Solutions, he was a senior manager with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where he focused on strategic information systems’ planning and the design, selection, and implementation of enterprise patient systems. His clients included many of the nation's largest healthcare organizations.
Prior to Ernst & Young, Hans managed project implementations and participated in product development for Healthcare Data Exchange (HDX), the EDI subsidiary of Shared Medical Systems (SMS). He has a BA from Kalamazoo College.
Cindy Dullea, RN, MBA, BC, Senior Vice President of Marketing
Cindy Dullea, with more than 30 years experience in the healthcare arena, has demonstrated
multi-disciplined expertise across healthcare’s functional disciplines. Having worked for providers,
payers and vendors, she is in the unique position of visualizing issues from the perspectives
of all major stakeholders.
Her significant healthcare information systems experience comprises executive consulting positions at Healthvision, Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Thomson Medstat and McKesson. Additionally, she was director of product marketing at Compucare, now QuadraMed and director of the product group for Eclipsys. Cindy also brings a wealth of knowledge of managed care gained from serving as operations director at The Queens Health Care Plan and PruCare of Massachusetts. While working as manager of peer review for a CMS subsidiary, she was instrumental in the deployment of DRGs in South Carolina hospitals.
Cindy spent 10 years as a nurse in the critical care and ER/trauma area and taught nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina. She has a BS in nursing from Salve Regina University, an MBA from Stephens College and is board certified in Nursing Informatics. She holds the rank of Rear Admiral in the United States Navy Reserves.
Garret Tokuda, Senior Vice President of Finance
As senior vice president of finance, Garret Tokuda, CPA, is responsible for all finance,
accounting and human resource functions for SCI Solutions.
Prior to joining the company, Garret was treasurer and director of administration for a $100 million real estate development company. Before that he served as a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche. He graduated with honors with a bachelors of business administration from the University of Hawaii.
Stuart Hammond, Senior Vice President of Sales
As SCI senior vice president of sales, Stuart Hammond oversees the company's sales
team and supporting strategies for successfully marketing SCI's three product
lines: Schedule Maximizer, Order Facilitator and Revenue Accelerator. Stuart
has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare information technology field.
Prior to rejoining SCI Solutions in 2008, he was with Healthvision as vice president of sales. He had been with SCI Solutions (formerly known as scheduling.com) previously and served three years as one of the company’s top producing sales executives. Before scheduling.com, Stuart held sales management positions with A4, Cerner, and Fair Isaac. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a BS in marketing with an emphasis on economics.
Vinnie Whibbs,
Senior Vice President of Community Initiatives
Currently responsible for the development of SCI's community initiatives, Vinnie
Whibbs served as chief executive officer of Efileshare prior to its acquisition by
SCI Solutions in 2005. Vinnie now applies this leadership experience to facilitate
business process and product enhancement for the benefit of clients.
Vinnie’s experience prior to Efileshare includes serving as chief financial officer for The Institute of Biomedical Research and as a supply officer in the United States Navy. Vinnie has an MBA from the University of Florida and a BA from the University of Notre Dame
Peter Paradis, Vice President, Chief Architect
Providing technical leadership, Peter Paradis is responsible for SCI’s research and
development efforts. Under his direction, SCI technology continues to build on the company’s
long-standing reputation for innovation. Leveraging his experience in web-based solutions, Peter
oversees the company’s technical operations to provide the best service for SCI customers.
Peter Paradis has more than 30 years of technical management experience, preceded by an additional five years with a variety of technical sole contributor assignments. Peter has been designing healthcare scheduling systems for nine years, including four years as the CEO of Superior Solutions Corporation. At Superior Solutions Corporation, Peter designed and built the first web-native patient scheduling system.
Peter has a bachelors in mechanical engineering and has completed course work for his masters in computer science, specializing in artificial intelligence, languages and operating systems.
