Scheduling.com, Lake Forest Hospital Team To Bring Internet-Based Access Management To Illinois Facility
System Will Improve Scheduling Efficiency, Reduce Administrative Costs
Los Gatos, Calif. – January 22, 2004 – Scheduling.com, the leading application service provider (ASP), for enterprise-class access management solutions, today announced it has signed a deal with Illinois-based Lake Forest Hospital (LFH). Scheduling.com will provide its Internet-based registration and scheduling system as to enable LFH to significantly improve patient access through the formation of Centralized Patient Scheduling. Lake Forest expects to increase scheduling efficiency while reducing patient processing-related expenses.
Under the terms of the agreement, Lake Forest Hospital will deploy scheduling.com's Access Management application across their enterprise for central scheduling, insurance eligibility verification, and automated appointment reminders. In addition, Lake Forest Hospital will provide physician and consumer portals from scheduling.com to allow patients and physician offices to schedule directly into the hospital via the Internet, and be completely integrated with the scheduling system to assure scheduling and conflict accuracy.
